My Bio
Ever since I could hold a pen and a camera, I loved to tell, in word and image, some of the countless stories that lived within me or observed in the wide world around me and - the very best- a merger of both. The inspiration to photograph and write has been as volatile as myself. The turbulence of searching but never really finding has been absorbing half my life. I just turned 40 and, I swear, I'll bloom during the second half of my life. For starters, I finally found my place in this world, with a wide and wonderful horizon that evokes the inspiration to reach out and peek far beyond.
I decided to listen to my heart and switch my career to 'something creative'. Meanwhile, I had my first encounter with funeral photography. It touched me ever so deeply to create an image monument in honor of a beloved deceased to keep his flame alive. Yes indeed, the commemoration of the epilogue to one's life is a crucial turning point for those involved; everything returns to the source, where the circle closes to re-open again.
So I found my calling. The speech (and other) writing completes it. I've enrolled in a specialist, intensive course for professional funeral photographers (2019). Meanwhile, I'm starting my own business as a funeral photographer and speechwriter.

Love to share light and joy, especially with those for whom a little of token of sympathy is of big meaning. #HolidayCardProject

Dear Journal, dear all, After years of feeling hopelessly taciturn, imploded, creatively dead inside, after being curled up far too long in my comfort zone, too frightened to come out and meet the wide world, go on a journey called life, I was forced out of my safe dark shelter on a scorching hot day, last summer. A beloved of a dear friend passed away on the legendary night it rained stars from heaven and Mars colored the nightly horizon nearly vermillion red. What a passage, I thought, while lighting a candle, holding a rosary, not knowing how to pray, but I sure did. This night the universe shifted its course. I was offered the honor t

Thank you so much for watching!:)
Thank'ee most kindly, m'deer  for keeping an eye on this ancient weaver of images :D
I needs it as I gets a bit wayward at times :drunk: :rose:
It’s my pleasure! 😊 I’m sure we all crucially need support and constructive feedback at times... Even creative beings tend to stick to comfort zones and habits, so need a reminder the horizon of inspiration is much wider than our actual perceptual framework at the time being.
I was talking to a policeman this morning, and as we parted, he asked me what I was going to be doing, I just said, "Shooting some people." He laughed and said "I'll pretend I didn't hear that." He's well aware of what I do, as I've shot him a few times :evillaugh:

:blowkiss:
Nice one!Nod Got some good shots? :D (Big Grin)
